Responsibilities may include:
Materials inspection, preparation and conversion, where attention to detail and precision is crucial.
Quality control checks on all in process parts.
Final packaging and/or crating of outgoing shipments.
Fabrication of custom parts by hand.
100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.
Maintain clean and organized work areas.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Quality-minded with strong attention to detail.
Able to use micrometer and other measuring implements accurately.
Strong technical aptitude needed for interpretation of drawings for in-process quality control.
Self-starter who can work with little daily supervision.
Problem-solver with ability to prioritize and focus on task.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to read and interpret written work orders.
Familiar with power tools and hand tools.
Ability to lift heavy objects.
