We are looking for another experienced RAWCstar (rockstar) to join our team.
Our veterinary kennel assistants play a vital role in the practice.
A well qualified assistant is expected to be proficient in the following skills:
Animal restraint (must be able to lift up to 50 pounds) Assist in recovering surgery patients Communicate with clients Time management Cleaning, stocking, and helping the team when needed Friendly and compassionate towards clients and fellow RAWCstars via all forms of communication (in person, over the phone/text, and e-mail).
Team-player.
We expect a teammate that enjoys being part of a team and wants to make the clinic a better place for our patients, our clients, and staff.
Remain calm, efficient, and professional during a medical crisis and with upset clients.
Love animals Self-driven Problem solver Computer literate Basic math skills Schedule:
Full-time - 40 hours per week Four day work week at approximately 10 hours per day Hours are typically 8am - 6pm but can vary.
Must be flexible with schedule.
