Senior Program Manager, Program Management Tools & Dashboards
Job Family Definition:
Provides support and/or lead teams through the Engineering development process and implementation of HPE's products. Projects are typically shorter-term, less complex and more contained with a defined time frame. Programs are typically longer-term, multi-functional, multi-project with complex requirements and effort. Manage activities, resource capability, schedules, budgets, and ensure cross company communications to facilitate product completion on schedule within budget. Work with engineering management to identify and improve process and program efficiencies. Work can involve external parties such as standards bodies, partners, etc. Management Level Definition:

Responsibilities:
Scripting and development for data extraction and reporting on engineering and program management activities Manages complex data and analyses to develop insights and make recommendations. Defines the metrics required to measure program performance, compares actual data to forecasted values, and develops the process for identifying and addressing performance gaps. Works with cross-functional teams across the entire span of program management activities. Contributes to priority projects with complex analyses and assists in developing recommendations. Works closely with leaders to drive program management initiatives. Identifies cutting-edge analytical tools, models, and methods for making key program decisions. Develops point of view documents on projects. Collaborates with the program management team to develop insights and recommendations. Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent. About 5-7 years' experience development/scripting on data extraction from tools such as SharePoint, Smartsheet, Atlassian (Jira & Confluence) for reporting. Knowledge and Skills Experience in developing project management dashboard based on a data-driven platform that displays metrics, stats, and insights that are specific to a particular project or strategy by presenting a tailored mix of KPIs in one central location in order to benefit the project's performance. Scripting experience in extracting information related to Jira tickets, Smartsheet projects and displaying in Power BI and/or Confluence dashboards Experience in all the phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) such as requirements gathering, analysis, designing, development, testing and documentation of reporting applications. Leadership capabilities to collaborate in a cross functional environment. Demonstrated knowledge of research methodology and the ability to manage complex data requests. Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills. Ability to learn and draw on new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches to business analysis. Advanced knowledge of Excel, Access, statistical analysis, and financial modeling. Strong business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility. Very strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong project management skills. Developed relationship management skills.
