You will work cross-functionally to identify and solve business problems, implement new tools and procedures, and ensure the delivery of project tasks to support strategic Information Technology initiatives.
A typical day Track and report on the progress of assigned projects, and highlight areas of risk for remediation action Examine existing Information Technology processes and procedures, and identify opportunities for improvement Understand relevant Information Technology metrics (e.
g.
, operational, sales, financial) and activities/decisions that impact them Collect and work with specified data sources to drive insights and actionable recommendations informed by data Clean, manipulate, and analyze data using Excel and create data visualizations using Tableau or Power BI Create and format information for internal and external communication (e.
g.
, memos, reports, presentations) Present findings to clients and/or internal stakeholders Work on a data center application migration, IT infrastructure technology upgrade, and/or capacity optimization projects Collaborate with other Information Technology teams to plan and execute short-term application deployments Work on job-specific training opportunities including Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Assist HP, Inc.
in achieving its business goals by contributing to digital transformation efforts This is a hybrid role - you will be required to go into the office Education Either a High School Diploma, GED, or Associate Degree Knowledge and Skills Have a growth mindset and can-do attitude Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Able to work independently and take initiative, as well as work collaboratively and contribute to an agile team environment Drive and eagerness to learn; willingness to build proficiency in the following practices, tools and technologies:
