00 an hour Summary of Duties:
Provide administrative support to Director and Department and provide first-line Human Resources services to Township employees, candidates and applicants.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Provides first-line customer service to employees, candidates, and applicants, including answering questions about job openings, applicant processing, and HR services.
This includes but is not limited to scheduling interviews, conducting phone screens, and explaining HR policies, programs, and services.
Directs complex questions to other team members.
Prepares, coordinates, and presents New Employee Orientation program multiple times monthly, including completing new hire paperwork according to legal requirements and Township policies.
Conducts research and compiles Human Resources information for reports provided to executive management team, consultants, salary surveys, and government agencies.
Administers Township-wide apparel program including ordering and distributing company apparel for new hires and annual replenishment for all employees.
Maintains Human Resources Information Systems and databases (i.
e.
, Trakstar, Paycom), including entering data, tracking applicants, and preparing routine reports for others.
Reconciles Township-wide drug testing program reports and invoices for pre-employment, for cause and regulatory testing.
Administers Township-wide service award program, including placing orders for service awards, Township-wide event coordination, and coordinating retirement gifts throughout the year.
Maintains and examines employee files to answer inquiries and provides information to authorized persons.
Performs reference and background checks to support the recruiting process.
Serves as administrator for BrightSign reviewing all requests and posting timely.
Calculates and adjusts Paid Time Off and Floating Holidays annually.
Processes check requests.
Processes department contracts for approval and recording.
Processes purchase orders and invoices by verifying product or service was received, writing proper account code on invoice, and forwarding to accounts payable.
Composes and types routine correspondence.
Coordinates Director's schedule and makes appointments including travel schedules and reservations.
Processes department travel requests and coordinates travel and lodging for out-of-town candidates.
Sorts and distributes incoming mail; prepares outgoing mail and correspondence, including email and faxes.
Organizes and maintains file system and files correspondence and other records.
Makes copies and scans correspondence and other related materials.
Assist with project management and scheduling resources.
Orders, maintains, and coordinates delivery of office furniture and supplies for the department.
Provides Notary Public service for company documents.
Maintains emergency information and supplies for the department.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum
Qualifications:

Education:
Associate degree (A.

) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school.
Experience:
Over three years up to and including five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior Human Resources knowledge and experience preferred.
Language Skills:
Spanish speaking, reading, and writing, including English/Spanish translation skills preferred.
Licenses and Certifications:
Must possess a Texas driver's license within the first ninety (90) days of employment and meet the driver safety policy requirements.
Notary Public preferred Computer Skills:
Must be proficient in MS Office 365 and Teams.
Experience with Paycom or similar software a plus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
