The CSR will provide information to customers in response to inquiries about products, services, prices, schedules, and deliveries.
The CSR will receive review, and process customer orders and ensure timely shipment and delivery of all orders.
The CSR will also receive document and resolve customer complaints.
This position is located in The Woodlands, Texas.
RESPONSIBILITIES Communicate effectively with customers, the Customer Service Manager, other CSRs, sales teams, production and shipping teams.
Acknowledge and assist customers in a timely manner.
Process customer orders in a courteous, efficient, and timely manner.
Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
Assist customers and sales with import and/or export inquires.
Will correspond import/export bookings with steamship lines, air carriers and freight forwarders.
Organize workflow to meet customer deadlines.
Communicate with external and internal partners as well as customer to ensure smooth transport arrangement.
Manage telephone calls professionally, efficiently and with good communication skills.
Attend to customer questions, complaints and concerns immediately and facilitate satisfactory resolution.
Effectively present and discuss the products and services of the company, soliciting only those desired products/services provided by the company to current and prospective customers in a way that conveys an image of quality, integrity and superior understanding and delivery of customer needs.
Support the efforts of the sales representatives.
QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma 3 to 5 years of experience with air and ocean imports and exports.
Strong understanding of air and ocean import and export regulations and documentation.
Experience in sales or customer service and/or experience in manufacturing/oil and gas industry.
Excellent phone and customer service skills.
Excellent command of the English language in both written and oral forms.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to identify and meet customers' needs and requirements.
Strong attention to detail, processing a sales aptitude and interested in preventing errors and solving problems.
Must be computer literate and current on new technology.
Must be hardworking, a self-starter and a problem solver.
Demonstrated excellence in organization and time management skills.
Able to perform multiple tasks efficiently.
