On behalf of our client, Procom is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Manager with the ability to be responsible for the overall enterprise wide effectiveness and efficiency of data center technology systems ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction are maintained.
Senior IT Infrastructure Manager Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior IT Infrastructure Manager that can effectively:
- Leads the migration to new technologies.
- Evaluates processing performance relating to machine utilization and reliability, and forecasts financial, physical, and human resource needs to meet established objectives.
- Oversees and coordinates data center operations as they relate to the environment, business continuance and restoration plans that isolate problems and implement pre-planned alternative routes or systems to restore service.
- Develops, manages and forecast capacity requirements based on business needs and IT infrastructure growth capacity.
- Ensures data recovery, maintenance, data integrity and space requirements are met across a variety of platforms.
Common Duties:
- Lead technical role for Data Center Operations of global enterprise.
- Has overall responsibility for department decisions and management.
- Provides strategic direction, coaches and mentors more junior management staff.
- Works on highly complex projects that require in-depth knowledge across multiple technical areas and business units.
- Coaches and mentors more junior technical staff.
- Understands and follows standard operating procedures.
- Maintains tasks, projects and activities in the IT system of Record
Senior IT Infrastructure Manager Mandatory Skills
Enterprise level experience in the following areas:
- Vmware
- Virtualization
- Storage (EMC)
- Back up and recovery
- PeopleSoft
- Oracle
- VDI
- Vblock
Senior IT Infrastructure Manager Nice to Have Skills
Bachelor?s or Master?s degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems, applied quantitative field (math/statistics, economics, and engineering).
