SCCM Engineer

Role Synopsis:
The SCCM Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for providing support for SCCM 2007/2012 infrastructure and client-related problems. Additionally, this role provides support for software package development and software configuration management. The ideal candidate must have at least three years of professional experience with SMS 2003 and SCCM 2007 and 2012, along with deployment experience, and experience creating queries related to SCCM 2012 database. SCCM 2007/2012 client repair experience is essential in this role. This role will require experience working in an enterprise with approximately 10,000 end users.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Providing SCCM 2007/2012 Report Management.
Knowledge of patch management and distribution with SCCM 2007/2012.
SCCM infrastructure monitoring.
Auditing of hardware/software inventory via SCCM 2007/2012.
Recommending and implementing policies and standards and ensuring adherence to security procedures.
Creating training documentation.
Technical writing/documentation.
Some weekend work and/or overtime necessary.

Qualifications:
Must have experience with full implementation and setup of SCCM 2007/2012 on a global scale.

Deploy, implement, administer and support current Microsoft SCCM 2007/2012 infrastructure.
Advanced skills in MS Windows XP/Windows 7.
MCSA and/or MCSE certifications preferred.
Understanding of Networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, WINS).
Experience with desktop management.
Experience with Operating System Deployment (OSD) and task sequences.
Wise Package Studio.
Non-Technical Skills Requirement.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work with users and other technicians with varying IT backgrounds.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
Team player that is willing to take recommendations from other members of the team.
Able to multi-task and use time effectively.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
