Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
o Ability to install, troubleshoot and maintain PeopleSoft Internet Architecture components including App Servers, Process Schedulers, and Web logic Servers.
o Plan and manage the installation of application patches and maintenance releases on development, test, QA and production environments.
o Proactively plan for future capacity requirements by calculating growth of the application in the areas of database size, number of end-users and application functionality.
o Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
o Identify and participate in application architecture solutions for improving the reliability, performance and availability of the systems.
o Interact with analysts and user community to analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot problems. Prepare and deliver recommendations to resolve issues in a timely manner.
o Provide technical administration and migration support for various PeopleSoft environments.
o Ensure application change control and migration strategy policies are followed.
o Be available on an on-call basis for system and application problems. Respond to problem tickets within service level agreement timeframes.
o Manage systems for high availability, and satisfactory response time.
o Act as a liaison with other IT departments and external departments.
o Good knowledge of IT Project Management Standards.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
o Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
o 6+ years of experience working with PeopleSoft HRMS.
o People Tools experience including People Code, Integration Broker and PeopleSoft Messaging, Application Engine, Change Assistant, Data Mover and Component Interface.
o A good understanding of object-oriented concepts and Application packages is preferred.
o Strong skills using Integration broker and Application messaging technologies.
o Perform capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning of systems.
o Good understanding of PeopleSoft upgrade/updates methodologies for People Tools and Application Upgrades.
o Strong SQL/PLSQL and application tuning skills on Oracle database.
o Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
o Crystal Reports and XML Publisher experience a plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
