Seeking an Entry level Buyer in The Woodlands, TX
Our client located in The Woodlands, TX is seeking some assistance in their Purchasing / Supply Chai department.
The following qualifications are required:
3-5 yrs experience in a purchasing role
Experience with requesting quotes from vendors
Experience with export requirements in products
Extensive experience using Excel
Ability to operate a forklift (will provide training)
Experience with Epicor9 and purchasing experience with Pumps, Valves and small parts is desired.
This assignment is expected to last up to 6 months and the client is ready to interview ASAP. This position is in a Manufacturing / Warehouse environment.
Work with and request quotes from vendors and confirm export requirement information on products. Issue purchase orders. Follow up and expedite orders. Check on status of existing orders. Expense purchasing. Some Shipping and Receiving Other Supply Chain department duties as assigned. Skills Work with Excel for some reporting Operate a forklift - will provide training
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
