Coordinate the receipt, distribution, inventory and storage of the company's physical and digital seismic data assets. Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Validate all seismic data shipments for completeness and QC all received materials, track shipments to and from third parties in transmittal log.
Detail oriented, adherence to standards and processes for seismic data.
Coordinate with Records Management on the transfer of physical seismic data assets to and from off-site storage facilities and third party vendors; a point of communication between users, data suppliers, technology providers.
Communicate with appropriate parties regarding the arrival of new seismic data products.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required, AAS or BSc in Geoscience or Geography preferred.
1
year of working with a broad spectrum of seismic data products at either a seismic data business or as a seismic data specialist at an Oil & Gas company.
Good knowledge of seismic data components and processed data products
Demonstrate computer knowledge through effective use of Microsoft Office applications.
Requires the ability to work independently with limited direction, must be able to prioritize multiple tasks, willingness to learn new software and the initiative and resourcefulness to search for solutions to achieve desired results.
Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers and other external contacts.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
