IT Procurement Specialist

Our client is seeking an IT Procurement Professional. The ideal candidate has an understanding of the purchasing process from PO to payment, coding invoices, vendor relations and some working knowledge of IT hardware (laptops, desktops, servers, and accessories).
Responsibilities:
Facilitate invoice payment of IT purchase orders via accounts payable software.
Confirm receipt of goods and services and gather/prepare documentation in a timely manner.
Validate invoices with end users and budgetary approvers.
Liaise between IT Procurement, Accounting, approvers, and vendors.
Provide receipt, approval, and payment status updates to respective stakeholders accordingly.
Provide financial reports, PO details, statistics, and historical cost/purchase information upon request.
Expedite orders and/or assist the expediting process when intervention is required.
Investigate and resolve problems and discrepancies that may occur.
Experience in purchasing IT hardware
Strong communication skills
Understanding of managing vendor relationships
Knowledge of IT hardware, ie desktops, laptops, servers and peripheralsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
