The Woodlands, TX General Purpose of Job This position is responsible to conduct and support the administration and management of IT technology sourcing and contracts on a global basis, optimizing return on investment by applying the corporate sourcing and contracting strategy and utilizing the list of approved suppliers.
Manage IT Contracts lifecycle and contract repository, analyze contracts for new purchases, renewals, merges, acquisitions and divestitures, negotiate commercial terms on all assigned contracts Establishes and manages contract records in contract repository including contract information, notifications of contract renewal alerts, contract triggers and related artifacts; engages stakeholders to determine renewal requirements; accurately analyzes and communicates changes to requirements to meet the needs of the business; take steps to terminate contracts.
Specific Skills & Knowledge:
Minimum 5
years of experience with contract administration and management Create Purchase requisitions and expedite Purchase orders related to contracts Experience with IT market analysis and sourcing strategies Ability to understand contract terms relevant to IT and discern contract deliverables Experience creating and managing database content, publish reports as required.
Knowledge of internal SAP requirements, policies and procedures needed to conduct job responsibilities Demonstrated ability to manage calendaring Highly organized with attention to detail General understanding of information technology, procurement and accounting principles Good Analytical Skills Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Certification in Contract Management desirable and or Paralegal certification.
