C#/Java Application Programmer

Senior Java / C# Developer Required:
- At least 10
years of experience designing, developing and implementing enterprise-level, n-tier, software solutions using Java and/or C#.
- Proficiency in Java and C# (Variable experience in one or the other is acceptable).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Groovy, Python, Tcl (Tickle).
- Strong practical knowledge of object-oriented principles and practices.
- Problem-solving and debugging techniques.
- Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) and unit testing.
- Enterprise security concepts (AD, Kerberos, SAML, OAuth).
- Proficiency with build tools and environments - Git, Maven.
- In-depth knowledge of restful service, soap, and WCF.
- Experience with conducting code reviews, code integration, and source code management.
- Mastery of IDE's such as Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, and Eclipse.
- Relevant experience with database design and SQL (MS-SQL).
- Database and integration experience with SQL Server and other systems.
- App server configuration and maintenance (Apache Tomcat in particular).
- Experience with configuration and implementation of CI/CD pipelines.
- Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, TFS, VSTS.
- Multi-environment support (from sandbox to production and on-prem to Cloud).
- 2
years of experience in the following business domain:
Upstream / Downstream Oil and Gas.
Optional:
- Gitflow experience a plus.
- Basic understanding / experience with Microsoft Azure.
Soft Skills:
- Ability to work on a multi-disciplinary SCRUM team of developers and engineering subject matter experts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively converse with both technical and non-technical clients.
- Positive attitude, enthusiastic, and passionate about writing quality code.
